Arborist / Crew Leader / Tree climber - $15-$30 per hour
We have an immediate employment opportunity for an Arborist / Crew Leader / Tree climber.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks associated with tree maintenance including pruning, tree removal, stump removal and planting. Knowledge of tree diseases and insects would be an asset but not required.
- Operating, repairing and maintaining specialized equipment, tools and vehicles.
- Supervise a crew of tree climbers / ground support
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary graduate from an Arboriculture program or related field
- ISA Certified, or working towards certification
- 3 plus years industry experience
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Able to perform demanding physical labour
- Must be reliable, team player, good attitude
- Class “G” driver’s license with a clean driver profile
